Daniel Overturf, an exhibiting photographer and professor emeritus of photography at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, has coauthored Artificial Lighting for Photography (2009) with Joy McKenzie. With Gary Marx, he is co-author of A River Through Illinois (2007).
